As good as Purdy has been, this offense still runs through the ground game. Purdy hasn't thrown for more than 220 yards in either game this season while CMC's run wild for 268 yards on 42 carries. The Giants have also been gashed on the ground, letting up 136.5 rushing yards per game (Ranks 26th). James Conner just ran for 106 on them last week. There's also a good chance this game is well in hand in the 2nd half with the 49ers laying 10.5 points. If that's the case the 49ers won't be too aggressive as they milk out the clock. Especially on a short week, no reason to open your QB up to unnecessary hits.
