5 Picks

1:05PM: TB/NYY Under 7.5 (3 Units).

TB SP Taj Bradley has a 1.07 ERA over his last 7 starts. He limited the Yankees to just 1 run on 4 over hits 6IP earlier this season when the NY offense was much stronger. NY's offense piled on against Zach Eflin yesterday, but they've struggled much of July. Eflin was plain terrible, tying a career high for walks. Yesterday's game still managed to go under. NYY SP Nestor Cortes has a 1.81 ERA in 10 starts at Yankees stadium. He tossed 7 scoreless innings against Tampa the one time he faced them at Home this season.

3:07PM: Tigers ML +115 (3 Units).

DET SP Reese Olson has a 3.14 Road ERA. He's allowed 18 Earned Runs in 10 road starts and 11 of those came in just 2 of those starts. Every pitcher has their off days but when he's on, he's an absolute road warrior. He's allowed just 3ER in his past 3 road starts combined. TOR SP Yusei Kikuchi is struggling and didn't get much of a break considering he pitched Sunday right before the break. He has a 7.53 ERA over his last 6 starts, allowing 4ER or more in 4 of them. Detroit's offense picked up where it left off prior to the break, scoring 5 runs yesterday. They were 1st in OPS in the Month of July going into yesterday's games but rank 3rd going into today.

6:45PM: Reds ML -110 (4 Units).

CIN SP Nick Lodolo has a 2.27 road ERA dating back to last year. He's allowed 1ER or less in 3 of 5 road starts this season and 2ER in another. Cincinnati's Home to one of the most hitter friendly parks in baseball and his Home/Away splits make sense. He's faced the Nats just once in his career, allowing 3ER over 7 innings in Washington back in 2022. Washington also ranks 28th in OPS vs LHP this season. WSH SP Mackenzie Gore has a 4.11 ERA at Home and has allowed 4 runs or more in 4 of his last 5 starts. The Reds offense ranks 5th in OPS in the Month of July. They've scored 5 or more in 6 of their last 7 games and averaged over 7 runs per game during that span.

7:10PM: MIL/MIN Under 7.5 (2 Units).

Two pitchers were bullish on for the 2nd half. Freddy's xERA is a 3.74 (4.11 ERA) and Lopez's xERA is a 3.44 (5.11 ERA). Peralta's isn't too drastic, but Lopez is pitching much better than his numbers show, and he hasn't finished a season with an era higher than 3.75 since 2019. He has a career 3.88 ERA at Home and the Brewers offense is only 13th in OPS in July. The Twins have scored just 11 runs in their last 5 games combined. Games against the Giants and White Sox who rank 24th and 28th in Team ERA.

8:10PM: Rockies ML +145 (3 Units).

SF SP Logan Webb gave up 7 runs over 5 innings in his most recent regular season start. He also gave up 3 runs in his 1 inning of work in the All-Star game. He has a 4.24 ERA in 8 starts at Coors Field. The Rockies offense stayed Hot last night, scoring 7 runs, all of which came against the Giants’ best relievers. They've now scored 6+ in 5 of their last 7 games. COL SP Kyle Freeland has made 4 starts since returning from the IL on June 23rd. He's gone 6 innings or more in all 4 (27.1IP), allowing just 5 combined earned runs. Colorado's 3-1 in those 4 starts and a blown 2 run save from 4-0. He's allowed just 1ER in his 2 starts at Coors Field during that span. SF has now failed to score more than 3 runs in 4 of their last 5 games.
