MLB

5 Picks.

2:10PM EST: A's ML First 5 Innings +160 (2 Units).

OAK SP Joey Estes has pitched well in all but 1 start this season. He has a 4.78 ERA in 6 starts allowing a total of 17 earned runs, 8 of which came in 1 start. He's allowed just 4 combined ER over his last 3 starts. MIN SP Bailey Ober hasn't pitched deeper than 5 innings in any of his last 5 starts, allowing 20 ER combined (7.61 ERA). He's also allowed 4 HR in his 2 Home Starts during that stint and that's the one thing the Oakland Offense is good for.

3:07PM EST: Guardians ML -105 (4 Units).

CLE SP Carlos Carrasco had found his form pitching to a 3.0 ERA in 3 May starts before an IL stint. He labored in his first start back a couple weeks ago but was efficient in his most recent, allowing 2ER over 4.2IP in Miami. Toronto's offensive woes and the Guardians bullpen's dominance both continued yesterday. Carrasco just needs to get through this lineup twice before passing it off to a rested best bullpen in baseball. The Blue Jays have a bullpen day and it's a bullpen that ranks 28th in ERA. Trevor Richards will start, and they'll try and get 2 innings out of him.

4:10PM EST: DET/HOU Under 8 (3 Units).

DET SP Jack Flaherty has been great all season and elite of late. He has a 2.08 ERA over his last 7 starts and a 2.43 ERA in 7 road starts. He allowed 3ER over 6.2 IP against these Astros earlier this season. He gave up a 2-run homer in the 6th and left the 7th with a man on first and 2 outs, the bullpen let him in. He's backed by a strong bullpen. The Tigers had one of the best bullpens in baseball prior to a rough Month of May. They've returned to form in June and have most guys throwing well.

Spencer Arrighetti gets the nod for Houston. The rookie struggled early on this season, but he's settled in nicely. He has a 4.13 ERA in 5 Home Starts and has allowed just 2combined ER over his last 3 starts (14.2 IP). This will also be the first time he faces the Tigers. Houston's bullpen is completely rested after having Thursday off and needing just 2 relievers yesterday.

7:15PM EST: TEX/SEA Under 6.5 (2 Units).

TEX SP Nathan Eovaldi has a 2.68 ERA this season and has allowed 2ER or less in 8 of his 10 as well as 5 straight starts. Seattle's scored just 11 combined runs over their last 4 games and 3 of those came against the White Sox. SEA SP George Kirby has a 2.72 ERA at Home this season and had a 2.7 ERA at Home last season. His 2nd start of the season was rough, allowing 8 ER at Home to Cleveland. He's allowed a combined 3ER in his 5 other Home Starts (.83 ERA). Texas has also scored 3 runs or less in 6 of their last 7 games. Both teams have seen their last 3 games go under this current total.

9:10PM EST: Rockies ML +150 (3 Units).

The Rookie Jared Jones starts for Pittsburgh. He's having a good year, but he has a 4.73 ERA in 6 road starts. His most recent outing saw him surrender 7 runs (5ER) over 4.1 IP to the Tigers. Coors Field is the toughest Venue for pitchers to go into and there's a learning curve for even the most seasoned pitchers and he's far from that. Colorado also got a look at him earlier this year in Pittsburgh so there's familiarity. He's faced the same team for a 2nd time twice this season and allowed 3 ER in each of them.

Ty Blach starts for Colorado. He's struggled in his 2 most recent outings and on the road all season, but he still has a 3.86 ERA at Coors Field which is quite good for the Venue. The Pirates offense hasn't been great, they scored just 7 runs combined in their 3-Game series against STL before traveling to Colorado. They scored 4 on Ryan Feltner yesterday who's arguably the worst active starter in baseball. The Rockies are 13-18 at Home and that's with some tough losses early this season. They have a strong home field advantage, and they find a way despite being a below average group. They just got one of their best players Nolan Jones back from the IL too.
