We're going to be taking it a bit slower than usual the final few weeks of the regular season here. We do this every year. Once the MLB playoffs hit we'll be firing away just about everyday. Last season we made over 35 Units in the MLB playoffs alone. Those who have placed every MLPC wager this year are currently up 134.85 Units. At just $100 per Unit that's $13,485.
7:05PM EST: Braves Team Total Over 5.5 (3 Units)
Atlanta just scored 10 runs on Washington yesterday and now they face their beloved Lefties. No team in baseball has a higher Batting Average, On Base Percentage, or Slugging Percentage against Lefties than the Braves. Their OPS is .875 vs LHP, the next closest is .808. They're swinging it well too, scoring 10 yesterday, 5 the day prior, and 9 a few days ago.
They face Patrick Corbin. While he's had some success this season he's struggled against the top left hitting lineups. He gave up 4 runs over 3IP to these Braves earlier this season. The Rays put up 6 iover 6 innings and the Dodgers scored 4 over 5IP. Last season the Braves scored 6 Runs on him twice and 4 in the other. He has a 5.2 ERA at home as it is this year and he's backed by a terrible Washington Bullpen.
Atlanta went through a little funk over the weekend and lost 4 straight which gave the Dodgers a chance to close the gap on the #1 overall seed. They're still in control but Atlanta needs to win. They have their A+ lefty hitting lineup in today.
