Ohio State's defense has been dominate in each and every game outside of its trip to Eugene Oregon earlier this season. They got a 2nd shot at the Ducks on a neutral field and proceeded to embarrass them. This game is being played in Texas, but Ohio State fans will travel, same as they did for the Rose Bowl. The Longhorns offense just hasn't been great this year and it's because of their mediocre run game. They're 55th in rushing yards per carry and that was on full display against ASU. They mustered just 55 rushing yards on 29 attempts against the Sun Devils. ASU's only 25th in rushing yards allowed per carry while Ohio State is 2nd. Ohio State's also elite everywhere else on defense. Texas scored just 24 on ASU in regulation and have been held to 20 or less 4 separate times this season. Twice against Georgia and once to Texas A&M and Arkansas. This just isn't the high-flying Texas offense of years past and Ohio State has the best defense in College Football.
