After losing 6 straight the Cornhuskers have rolled off 3 impressive wins. It started with an 80-74 Win over Illinois at Home, 77-71 win over Oregon in Eugene, and just this past Wednesday went on the road and beat Washington 86-72. Their defense is playing well, climbing to 35th in defensive rating, and it really looks like they discovered what works best for them on the offensive end of the floor. It's not like they caught some random shooting luck. They went 5/20 and 4/23 from deep against Illinois and Oregon. They did shoot well against Washington, knocking down 11 of their 19 3-point attempts and it resulted in a blowout. They're rolling hot and returning home so there's a decent chance that carries over a bit but we don't find it necessary. Like the spot at home in a conference rivalry game. They might not run the Conference in Basketball, but every Big 10 team relishes the opportunity to beat Ohio State.
