NCAAB
2 Picks (6 Units).
Maryland's 16-1 at Home with their only loss coming against Marquette on November 11th. They excel on both ends of the floor and have the ability to play with pace. They've won each of their last two home games handedly and are shooting 44.3% from deep over their last 3 games. They play through their Bigs Derik Queen and Julian Reese. They average 15.9 and 14 points per game, and each contribute 9+ boards a game. MSU has some size but it's deeper down the depth chart and going to take minutes away from their best players. With Maryland stroking it from deep and Michigan State ranked 349th in 3-PT %, it's hard to see the Spartans keeping up. MSU does defend the 3-PT Line as well as any team in the Country but that's harder to do with the Terps size down low.
8:30PM EST: Seton Hall +8.5 (3 Units).
For as bad as Seton Hall is, Nova is still just 2-7 on the road. Nova has a 10-point road win over Depaul and a 13-point road loss to Providence. The other two bottom ranked teams in the Big East outside of Seton Hall. The Pirates tend to show up at home, losing a closely contested game to Xavier their last time out, beating UConn by 1 the game prior, and losing by a basket to Providence 4 Home games back. Villanova's also a bigger program that Big East teams look forward to playing and beating, even if they aren't as dominant as the Jay Wright area. The Hall have also covered this number in 7 straight home games against Nova.
