Nice win over Maryland for Michigan yesterday but they shot 38.9% from deep and outrebounded the terps 38-16. Despite that they still won by 1 and at the buzzer. Michigan is a strong rebounding team considering they have two 7 footers but that much of a discrepancy is luck of the draw. Part of the reason we like Wisconsin today is because they have a pair of 7-Footers of their own. Michigan's are better but Wisconsin has big bodies to put on the big bodies. Michigan's not a good 3-PT shooting team either, playing their third game in 3 days we expect them to struggle as they have most of the season. As far as Wisconsin goes, they've gotten on these red-hot streaks a couple times this year. They went 9/29 (31%) from deep against MSU which isn't bad against the 2nd best 3-PT defense in the nation. They're playing their 4th game in as many days so they may not be overly efficient there, but Michigan ranks 76th in opponent 3-PT %. The big key is Wisconsin's Bigs are two of their best 3-PT shooters. The 7 Foot Crowl shoots 40.9% and Nolan Winter shoots 37.2%. They will pull Michigan's Bigs away from the basket and that drastically changes the rim protection. These played once this season, back on December 3rd, and Michigan won 67-64. Wisconsin ended up losing 3 straight games. Love what we see from the Badgers right now and they match up well.
