Without some decent perimeter shooting it's hard to score on Creighton's defense. Their whole defensive philosophy is centered around running teams off the 3-PT Line and into their 7'1 Center Ryan Kalkbrenner. /Creighton's 15th in opponent 2-PT %. Against elite passing and shooting teams Creighton can get caught over extended and will leave shooters open. Georgetown is 324th in 3-PT % and 261st in 3-PT Rate. It's just not their game. They're also 109th in 2-PT % so it's not as if there's a tradeoff. Overall, they're 161st in offensive rating and 35th in defensive rating. Bluejays will have their work cut out for them on Offense, but we like their defense to be the true difference maker. They're coming off two close losses to St. John's and UConn and they got embarrassed at Georgetown earlier this year. Good spot for a team that needs wins if they want to go dancing.

4PM EST: Utah +2.5 (3 Units).

Utah's playing some good basketball, beating Kansas State and Kansas in their last two games. The game prior to that they lost at Cinci by 10 but that game was tied up with just 4 minutes to go. Cinci's also an elite defensive and rebounding club which is a tough road spot for the Utes. UCF is 118th in defensive rating and 257th in rebound rate. They're 330th in defensive rebounding % and that's the edge we're banking on here. Utah's little streak of good play has come from dominating the offensive glass. They're 41st in rebound rate and 64th in offensive rebound % on the season. Over their last 3 games their offensive rebounding % is up to 36.4%, which would rank 9th on the season. They snagged 19 offensive rebounds in their win over Kansas State and 14 against Kansas. Kansas is a good rebounding team, but KSU is 340th in defensive rebounding %. UCF hasn't won a game in February, and they've now lost 7 straight and failed to cover in 6.
