NCAAB
1 Pick (3 Units).
9PM EST: Baylor +9 (3 Units).
With Houston banged up we'll take the points. Houston's 2nd leading scorer Emanual Sharp hasn't played in either of their last two games and their leading scorer LJ Cryer has been inefficient dealing with a hand injury. Going back Houston beat Colorado by 10 laying 14.5, beat Oklahoma State by 9 laying 21.5, and lost to Texas Tech by 1 laying 9.5. Tech's a good ball club but COL and OKST are 101st and 106th per KenPom. Baylor's ranked 26th overall and 11th in offensive rating. They'll have the ability to shoot themselves into an upset if they get hot. They're a quality 3-PT shooting team (36.3%) with 6 legitimate shooters. Houston's 317th in opponent 3-PT Rate at 43.9% and that's up to 48.3% over their last 3 games. Houston defends the rim as well as any team in the Country but that changes when teams get hot from beyond the Arc and you have to expand defensively.
