ML: D-Backs -110 / Giants -110
Over/Under 7.5
Zac Gallen has dominated the SF Giants. Since 2022 he has a 1.69 ERA in 4 starts against SF. He pitched at SF twice during that span and allowed just 2 ER on 14IP. He faces an ice-cold SF Giants team. They’re 4-8 in their last 12 games averaging just 2.58 Runs per game. AZ just acquired Paul Sewald from SEA as well which addresses the D-Backs inability to close games. He’s 21 for 24 in SV opportunities this year and picked up 20 saves the year prior.
Alex Cobb starts for SF and he’s fresh off a good month of July. He just hasn’t faced much competition. He dominated SEA (22nd in OPS), PIT (25th OPS), and OAK (30th). The one start he made against a legitimate Reds Offense (10th OPS) he got blasted for 5 Runs in just 4.1 innings. The D-Backs also put up 4 runs on 9 hits across 5 innings the last time Cobb faced them at home.
