Dolphins vs Bills

The Bills are going to steamroll rookie Skylar Thompson and Miami, evident by Vegas’s -13.5 point line. Josh Allen will have a good day, but he’s just not going to have to do too much. There’s a good chance this game’s practically over by halftime… Thompson’s thrown 105 passes in his NFL career and now he has to go on the road into Buffalo to take on one of the best defense’s in a playoff game. He’s averaging an “astounding” 76.3 passing yards per game and has 1 touchdown to 3 interceptions this year. Why does this matter? When The Bills enter cruise control, Josh Allen won’t throw that much. Allen’s only gone over this passing yard total in 6 of his last 7 games too. And if you’ve been following us for a bit, you know Josh Allen runs more in the playoffs (check January 2nd Free Pick), further depleting him of pass attempts. Look for plenty of elite Josh Allen handoffs today.

Giants vs Vikings

Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka have given Vanilla Vick an average of 7.5 carries per game during the season but this is the playoffs. White Lightning’s been bottled up so he remains healthy, but he’ll be unleashed the same way Daboll unleased John Allen’s legs in the playoffs during his time in Buffalo. When they needed a win to clinch the playoffs against the Colts 2 weeks ago, Jones got 11 carries for 91 yards and a 2 Touchdowns. He leads the Giants with 5.9 yards per carry and ran for 34 yards on just 4 attempts against these Vikings a few weeks ago. With an increased workload he goes over this prop with ease.

Ravens vs Bengals

I’m not sure Baltimore understands the QB position very much. The less you can throw, the more they covet you. Yes, their QB’s run a lot but there is no Lamar Jackson level back-ups so instead Baltimore basically has a RB with an Arm in Huntley. On the year, 109.7 passing yards per game with 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. The running QB averages 3.2 yards per carry too. The Ravens offense averages 11.8 points per game with Huntley under center. The Bengals offense is rolling and they just threw up 27 points on Baltimore last week. If he doesn’t throw an INT on any regular play, he will when the Ravens have fallen too far behind and he’s asked to lead a comeback with his arm.
